New Horzions
I’m singing a song and packing my bag,
Feeling the wind while smelling the sea,
My mind can see what is to be,
I hear the roar of that ole plane.
And I feel my feet leaving the ground,
Oh, oh, oh, oh I’m on my way
I don’t look back cause I’m changing my stars,
My comet’s arrived and I’m grabbing its tail,
80 years may pass before you see me again,
Don’t be sad for me I’ve worked hard
To reach this place where I can soar
Oh, oh, oh, oh I’m on my way

I like it! (And normally I don’t understand or get moved by poetry.)
Thank you. I don’t think I’m all that good at poetry which is why I refer to my stuff as prose. I had fun with this one. I started out trying to write a song but never went back to it so this was as far as I got.
Nice work, lady. 😉
Thank you, thank you. *waves @ Anna*
