National Novel Writing Month Novermber 2013

Once upon a time...

NANOWRIMO

This is national novel writing month.  Write 50, 000 words in the month of November.  Writers all over the nation are pen to paper trying to meet that goal in 30 days.  I joined a local branch of NaNoWriMo participants in my home town.  The kick-off party was October 30th.  It was a get to know you meet, and dress in costume as your favorite character in your NaNo project.  I dressed as the spirit of sentient planet called Mernos from my novel project “The Crystal of Anterra: A Starlight Space Saga.  Keep in mind this is a work in progress, and all names are subject to change, until final draft.  I am writing in the sci-fi fantasy genre for this project.  It was great fun.  I met some very interesting people who love to write like me.

NaNoWriMo started yesterday, November 1st.  I’m afraid I’m a little behind on my word count because life decided to trip me, but I’m back on track today.  For the next 29 days I will focused on my novel and reaching that 50,000 word mark.  I will also be writing flash fiction to give you a peak at the characters that make up my story probably after November.   I’m almost completed the first of four free flash fiction serialization about the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Death, Famine, War and Pestilence.    Deaths anthology is almost done.  I’ve also been spending time working on this website, and learning, when I am not working at my other job, non-writing related.  Well I’m back to NaNo, NaNo, NaNo, NaNo!   I love saying that, because every time I do I think of Star Wars battle droids “Roger, Roger”  “Roger, Roger.”  I’m a goof, I know.
