Readers: Memory of Fire 99 cents

Holly Lisle sent out this email, which I thought I would share with you, a wonderful opportunity for readers.  I enjoyed the series very much.

Holly’s original email below.

memoryoffireMuch to my surprise, I received an email from the promotions guy at HarperCollins a few days ago, letting me know that Memory of Fire, the first novel in my World Gates trilogy, was going to be on sale for 99¢ for a limited time.

He asked me if I wanted to do anything to promote it.

And I do. I loved that book.

Frankly, I loved the whole series. Set in small-town North Carolina, where I lived from the time I was nineteen until I was thirty-five, Memory of Fire let me tell a tale of secret heroes in a small Southern town, the magic on the other side of a mirror, a family struggling to save each other from destruction, and a growing threat to the existence of not just our universe, but all of them.

If that sounds like your kind of magic, pick up your 99¢ copy here today:

If you like Memory of Fire, just reply to this email to let me know.

If you love it, forward this email to a reader friend or three.

It’s a long shot, but enough interest from readers (“interest,” as defined by publishers, ONLY means sales) could stir up HarperCollins to ask for more books in the World Gates universe.

If that happened, I would be VERY interested in picking up where I left off.

The sale ends January 18th. That might be enough time to make magic happen.

Cheerfully,
Holly Lisle

P.S. The other two books in the series are Gods Old and Dark:
