Me this month, I’m struggling, but I wrote this blog post. Mindset, weeping heart and esteem are part of the struggle, but I persist. Now for A few random things and interests…
One Stop For Wrtier’s is a new website going live on Oct. 7th that describes itself as an online library resource for writers. One source filling many needs The creators are the writers of the The Emotion Thesaurus: A Writer’s Guide To Character Expression, as well as several others in this series by Angela Ackerman (Author), Becca Puglisi, This series includes The Negative Trait Thesaurus, Positive Trait Thesaurus, and Emotion Amplified reference. I own them all, so I’ve been watching the site count down to go live.
My first contact online was this link Unique Writing Resources: Helpful Checklists and Tip Sheets Posted on October 5, 2015 by Angela Ackerman.

Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my blog! I have done NaNo twice (successfully), but am passing this year as I want to get my current wip done and figured if I spend as much time on it during November as I would have doing NaNo, I should get a crazy amount done. Thanks for the tips. I’ve heard of the One Stop and will check it out…
Hey, you got a blog post written. That’s more than some people can say. Here’s to doing what we can and rejoicing in what we do accomplish!
Whatever may be causing the weeping, may it soon pass like night mists. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. It meant a lot. I don’t do NaNo. Would you live in a house hastily thrown together in a month? 🙂
Keep on keeping on. I find the urge to hide when I feel low, but psychologically, it’s the worst thing. Working – writing – that’s my therapy. Best of luck. X

Thanks for the blog post! I find IWSG posts very encouraging.
🙂

Here’s hoping next month is better. Keep on pushing on. 🙂
Thank you.
I hope things improve for you soon. I’ll be setting my own goals in November to ride the NaNo high of energy and hope.
Thank you and good luck to you
I’ve never been brave enough to try Nano. Good luck if you decide to jump back in. Thanks for the link to the One Stop for Writers website.
Thank you and your welcome. Thanks for taking time to drop by.
I hope you are able to stop your heart from being weepy and can get back to writing. I have followed many people who participated in Nano but have never participated myself. I am considering it this year.
Thank you. Have decided if going to for sure this year, but if I do it will be my 3rd your to take part November NaNo. Its fun and inspiring to do with all the other writers.
Keep persisting! Thanks for mentioning One Stop for Writer’s. I’ve bookmarked the website.
lol, you are welcome, but it was purely coincidence I like the reference books they had done, which I own, and signed up for newsletter through one of them, so received news about new site through that. Thanks for taking time to comment,
Keep persisting!
One of these times I’m going to try NaNo. Busy editing at the moment though.
lol, Thanks.
Hope everything works out for the better!
Thank you. It will eventually come around–It always does, because that is life continually in motion and change and opportunity will present, even when it seems slow and neverending.
I hope things get better for you soon. Thank you for the info on One Stop for Writer’s. Have a great weekend. Wishing you well.
Thank you, me too. Some thing are better and some thing are shaky, but hanging in. Wishing you much success with new book.
Praying for you. I hope that every day you have a moment of happy writing and happy life, or even an all-day moment. 🙂 One word, one day, one step at a time.
lol, Thank you. You can go a mile or two or four one step at a time.
Take it one day at a time. Is that too much of a cliche? Stay strong and you’ll get through this down time and bounce back to even greater heights! Nano? No Nano for me this year. But I finally did write a 50,000 word plus novel–took me three years…sigh…I guess I’m just not a wordy person. Love your blog cover art.
Congrats on the novel, wahoo! Not too cliche, I like cliches. Some of the wisest and cleverest words have been cliches, lol. Thank you.
Hopefully next month will be better for you.
I wish I could take part in NaNoWriMo this year but my plate is full and spilling over.
Thank you.
Alexandre Sokoloff did a whole series on pre-Nano on her blog. Excellent. But I’m still not participating. Big chicken. Or more likely I’m too lazy.
lol, I will have to look that up if I can. Thanks Jolene.
Sorry you’re struggling. I’ve had a lot of that this year. Good for Angela and Chuck!
Thank you.
Angela’s resources with the emotion thesaurus books and her resource site are so helpful. Bonus: she’s actually a nice person to work with online. I support writers who are professional and also kind. Not everyone is, and it shows after awhile. I hope her launch is a success!
I’m wishing her much success too. What a sweet thing to say about someone else. You own a bit of that kindness yourself. I have been lucky so far, most writer’s I have interacted with have been really great.
One Stop for Writer’s sounds like a great site for writers! Where were they when I first started out? 😛
Right, I could have used something like it earlier as well–Glad they did it, wishing them much success.
As Angela said, hang in there. Things have to get better soon! The One Stop For Writers website looks like it will be a great resource. I’ll check it out. Can’t wait for the new Star Wars movie. Sending positive thoughts and energy your way!
Thank you, and May The Force Be With You, lol
Still trying to finish the edit on Sasha before I can do Nano. I’ve had an idea stuck in my head for months, just waiting for November. I think I may have to do a NaNo-like revising marathon so I can join you this year!
I’m making plans, but have not decided if it is a go this year or not yet–but I will probably post something we can definitely buddy up and earn a badge.
I own them too, how awesome they’re doing a one stop site! Thanks for sharing it 😀
Yay for those who participate in NaNo, it’s coming up fast!!!!!
Yeah I think it is going to be really cool too.
So looking forward to NaNo this year. 🙂
Anna from Elements of Writing
Not sure if I am going to do it this year or not, but still making a plan in case I decide to go for it,
Hi,
Hang in there and try to write through the low points. We all get ’em – in fact, write about ’em – some of the best novels come out of it! And don’t forget, sometimes they can be followed up with some high points – it’s just easier to forget them sometimes.
Big hugs:)
A x
Thanks A! Hugs back.
