I AM HAVING COMMENTING PROBLEMS.
I AM HAVING COMMENTING PROBLEMS.
WORKING ON FINDING A FIX.
As of WED with IWSG I have been unable to comment on any blogs except 3 Anna’s and Joylene’s and don’t remember the 3rd blog today.
Yes 3rd party cookies are enabled. Yes I’ve tried other browsers same thing, yes I have cleared browsing data and history, I have maintenanced my computer extensively, I have enable google services manually.
I read on multiple forums for fix. The last WP forum I read said they are aware of problem but don’t have a fix yet.
On Tuesday I was able to post on blogs, many of the blogs, I now, cannot post on. It makes no sense. I also checked my computer updates and I have not had one since the problem started. I even updated Chrome and that did not fix it either.
I’m at a loss so far, but will keep looking, but all you guys I’ve been commenting on, if you wonder what happened to me will that is what happened.
Post on Wed IWSG November 2nd post about the trouble
UPDATE THURSDAY NOV 3RD, 2016
I FOUND A WORK AROUND SOLUTION
THE PROBLEM IS THE WORDPRESS.COM LOG ON.
WORDPRESS IS AWARE
WP SAYS THEY ARE WORKING ON A FIX BUT NO FIX AVAILABLE YET
BLOGGER HAS SOME ISSUES OF THIER OWN IN THIS RESPECT AND IF GOOGLED SOLUTIONS SUGGESTED.
OFTEN THE PROBLEM CONNECTS BACK TO WP LOG ONS.
If I log on using my Google sign on to blogs I can post. I have an old unused WordPress.com account which I use to link Jetpack to my WordPress.org account. The WP.com is causing the problem. Its a known issue but they have not figured out a fix according to on forum post. So if the blog where I try to post has Google sign on I will be able to post be WP or Blogger. If I have to use the WP.com sign on I won’t be able to post. I’ll let you know if any blogs don’t allow google sign on. I know Blogger does and some WP allow Google sign on, at least depending on the theme, maybe.

Yay! I’m not the only one!!!!
You’re about the fifth person I’ve run into with problems, started when Debbie alerted me. I did get your latest comment on my blog. I have constantly had problems commenting through a WP.com log-in. I finally gave up and created a Blogger log-in. What a mess.
I’m glad that it’s all getting worked out! I’ve had troubles like that, too, sometimes.
Back again to say, “Hang in there.” 😉

Glad you found something to start. Hopefully, they get a fix in place so you don’t have to jump through hoops.
Hope things smooth out for you soon. Thanks for stopping by my blog for Lynda’s interview. Have a good weekend!
What a mess. I’m glad you found a solution. And since I saw you commented on a few on my posts, I hope the problem is gone now.
All this tech stuff is beyond me. Hope it all fixes up soon.
I’m so sorry! I’ve had many issues as well recently. With the hacking on google and the switch to https, all kinds of things have been buggy. I actually had to cut my blogger address out of my posts because WP wasn’t liking something on my blog. Very frustrating. *shrugs* I’m glad you found a go-around. I had to too–by redirecting from my webpage. Darn technology…
I haven’t had much of a problem commenting on other blogs, so I have no advice to give you The only problem I had came a year ago, when my work computer would return an error message every time I tried commenting on M. Pax’s blog. It was only on that one computer and only with her blog. Weird.
I never had either until IWSG November. First time ever. Not sure what changed, if it was something I did or something WordPress did. But I found a go around since there is no solution available yet.
I’m beginning to think a pseudo identity (meaning a blog you never use) in Blogger and WordPress that only post a link where you really are might be in order. Log into them when commenting and log out when living your lovely (sometimes stressful life).

If I log in with Google or Twitter its all good as long as the blog I am visiting supports that, so far they have all had one or the other as choices so I’ve been commenting. Apparently I’ve been using Google log in on yours and that is why I was able to post but did not realize it. Thanks. Lately its all stressful.
I’m sure you’ve spent a lot of time on this. So much for our amazing time-saving devices. Sorry. Hope you find the cause.
Thanks and yup spent a lot of time on it, lol. Found the cause but no solution from WP they are working on it, but found go arounds.
Here’s a possible solution, I hope.

Now his link isn’t working. Maybe ask Joss in an email. He apparently has the fix.
I found the go around because WP does not have a solution yet. I’m not the only having this problem. But I found go arounds and its in the log on and what I use to log onto blogs. So far so good. Thanks for the help and input.
I’m sorry! Odd you got through to a couple of them. Hope they have a fix pronto.
Thank you. It was a headache WP does not have a fix yet but I found go arounds.
