Happy IWSG Day Everyone!
This is going to be short. Lots of things going on. I am learning to use GIMP to manipulate images (similar to Photoshop, but free software), not as easy as some make it sound, lol. Its been fun though, but I still need a lot of practice. Link to GIMP free software, a download without all the adware you find in some places where you can download it.
My biggest fear this month is I won’t be able to get done, all that needs done in writing and life. Happy IWSG Day and May The Force Be With You All! I know I’m going to need it to get all the heavy lifting of moving done, when the times comes.
Star Wars Episode 7 – The Force Awakens TRAILER #2 (2015) Harrison Ford Sci Fi Movie
My favorite fan video. Reminds me of my 23 years in law enforcement emergency communications-now retired, just a day in the life, bad boys, bad boys….

Ooh, good luck with Gimp. Stick with it and you’ll find it’s one of those things that is really easy (once you know how!!).
I hope you get everything done, I wish you well with the upcoming move.
I hope you do get everything done. All the best with the move. I don’t even want to think how hectic it is. Hang in there. Wishing you the best.
Thank you.
I’m going to give GIMP a try. I don’t have anything like Photoshop unless you count the free version of Photo Editor by Aviary I downloaded. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my blog yesterday and commenting. It meant so much to me.
I’m a former EMT, and I’m sure we can discuss some hilarious dispatches given/received! Have a fantastic night and I look forward to getting to know you. Eva
I found some good GIMP courses on Udemy, also Youtube has some too. Understanding why you do the things to get the effect is the most confusing–The tech stuff as Tyrean said can trip you up, lol. The more I play with it the more I get it and how to accomplish certain things.
LOL, I am sure we do have stories we can swap. I dispatched for Police/Fire & First Responders for 23 years, lol. I look forward to getting to know you too.
Not sure my comment went through – my tech knowledge has taken a plunge the last few days/weeks/years.
Love those videos! Thanks for sharing!
Oh, new tech things . . . I keep tripping on the stuff I should already know how to use. Sigh.
I love the videos!!! Thank you for sharing them! May the 4th be with you. (a few days late, sorry)
Your welcome. I am a Star Wars nerd, lol. Can’t get enough of it. Thanks for stopping by to comment. It worked. You did find with the tech. You could always pull a Han Solo and blast the thing. 🙂
I’ve heard about Gimp, but I’m already really good with Photoshop. Whatever works for you – that’s what matters.
I’m not good at any yet, but GIMP is free software that is comparable to Photoshop, so thought I would learn it. I need the practice.
This is a constant struggle for me as well. There are times when I’m able to say that I do what I can, but most of the time I’m trying to do it all knowing I’ll fall short. I just keep plugging away. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Toi, I guess that is just life really. We need to not focus on the worry and fear, but that moment in time and the end goal. I fall short too, but a lot of times I do far more than I think I can do or thought I did. Thanks for commenting.
Juneta, that’s always on my mind. But I keep plugging away. At the end of the month I add up everything I did and things are usually far better than I thought they would be.

Great advice, keep on plugging. What we imagine is always worse than the reality in most cases. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Juneta,
Good luck with the move when the time comes.
Love the new white background 🙂
I have my fingers crossed that the new Star Wars movie will be good. We’re training the kids up so they’ll be ready when it comes out! (You should see Jason’s lightsaber – it’s awesome!
Angie
Thank you, I seesaw between the dark and light backgrounds. I’m always trying out new themes ever few months.
LOL, I can’t wait for Star Wars. I have 4 light sabers *rollseyes @ self*. I bought my BF’s grandbabies light sabers for Christmas last years. This year they got SW Clone Wars animated movies, lol, and SW figure toys. I got a 3 foot Darth Vader for Christmas myself, lol, yeah I’m a big kid, when it comes to Star Wars.
Good luck.
Thank you.
Hang in there. If the kitten can do it so can you. I’m glad to see the crows are back. I missed them so.

Yeah the crows are back. I missed them, when I took them down. 🙂
