How To Revise Your Novel
On December 8th at 10 AM and closes on Monday December 14th at 11:59 PM EST
The comprehensive course builds on skills you already started learning in the mini-revision workshop. Holly teaches how to work through your revision with a system. She helps you identify mistakes that cause things not to fit the way you intended or tie in surprises you didn’t expect. Identify promises you made your reader on purpose, unintentional or accidentally. For me, seeing those aspects is sometimes harder than fixing other more obvious mistakes.
The best thing is you develop skills that make your story better that you can use over and over. Fix your whole manuscript, not just bits and pieces that leave you feeling like something is still missing and frustrated despite the revision you just finished.
I’m still going through this class myself. Its tough, but so worth it. I have learned so much. What I like is it is teaching me how to break down what I have already written and compare it to what I envision my novel to be and make it happen. My skill set as a writer has grown, so much. I have never regretted this investment in myself and my writing.
