    Honestly, any amount of writing or editing is a win in my book! Yes, I do NaNo pretty frequently (though not for the last few years), and I’m doing it this year. I sign on when I’m ready to start drafting around November 1–it doesn’t work that way every year, for sure.

    If NaNo helps you, I think it’s okay to do it even if you don’t make the goal. Camp NaNo sounds like it works better for you. I’ve never tried either one.
