This prompt came up as a contest winner generated by the IWSG gang – we chose the winner from a whole bunch of creative ideas! Congratulations to long-time WEP participant, Toinette Thomas.
Incorporate 28 days in your entry. It can be the time limit for a task or a challenge. The quantum of growth, a journey, a change, and/or healing that happens in 28 days. Come in with a werewolf entry. Or don’t. Tell us about some other moon phase-based folklore instead. Fashion an epistolary flash as a series of 28 diary entries or postcards. Mainstream, fantasy, romance, travel – all wide open. A lot of things can happen in 28 days!

I do have a Harry Potter journal, but I rarely write anything in it for fear of despoiling it. I keep waiting for these fantastic thoughts that are journal-worthy. Sigh…

I really like it. I have been faithful to it for about 3 years now but lately, I have not been keeping up with it as I did in past. I like it because it is a catch-all for me and suits any purpose I need it for.

Hi,
It’s always a joy for me coming to your website. It is sooooo encouraging. I’ve been having troubles posting on post of the blogs in the IWSG because of my Safari explorer. So, I’ve switched to Google and it nice to be back to visit your blog.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

She does one every year with a different theme. I got it through the Ninja Writers Club Esty shop. Its closed right because she just moved from one state to another, but should reopen. It is very clever. She made it out of book cover and use rings, index cards, and lament to create dry ease pages too. I love it. I have a bigger one too. 5×7. It is Monsters Inc. and a Footloose one. All made from books or vinyl record covers.

I’m kind of jealous for your signed Timothy Zahn book. I love his Star Wars stuff, and I love his non-Star Wars stuff too. He’s an extremely talented writer.

I know. I was so psyched that I won it. I like his other stuff too. Yup, extremely talented. A favorite. May The Force Be With You, lol.

The advent calendar is a wonderful idea.
I guess if I posted a shot of my full desk, it would look cluttered. But it’s very organized clutter.
admin2
December 5, 2018 @ 22:27
I try to do it every year, but I missed last years.
I need more organization, but mine is so cluttered mainly because it is small. It is the top of a nightstand.
