FLAMING CRIMES
Prompt: What is something ridiculous you would save if there was a fire?
[themify_box style=”orange info”]
THE INSTRUCTION FOR ANSWER:
Note: This prompt is not meant to make light of how serious fires are. It’s meant to be different from the traditional question of If your house caught on fire, what’s the one thing you’d grab?
Now, when I say ridiculous, I mean something that is important to you (something worth grabbing), but other people might find odd. After your family, pets, and important items are safe and sound (that includes anything writing related), what is the one odd thing you’d want to grab from your home?
For example – My mom grabbed a bag of potatoes when a fire was surrounding our home. That seems like a rather odd thing to grab, right? Well, she’ll tell you that she was a mother of five and wanted to make sure she could feed her kids. And just like that, saving a bag of potatoes sounds reasonable.

So…what would you save?
My Answer: (Well above exemptions cover some of what I would have named so after all the important items including writing related. The one odd thing I would grab if there were time after doing all of the above my Kindle/Kindle Fire and charger so I will have my digital books collection at least.)

Yes grabbing the Kindle is a great idea. In my case it would need to be the iPad mini I’m using since it belongs to my daughter and I’m sure she’d appreciate me not letting it go up in smoke.

The Kindle or any e-reader is a great choice. I’d grab mine too.

My iPad (with all my books) was included in the “of course I’d save” list along with family photos. Which reminds me I need to scan photos to save digitally. Great choice.

Grabbing a Kindle would definitely be easier than trying to grab a bunch of books!

If you have a lot of books on Kindle, I can certainly understand wanting to save it!

Most of the books I own are in print. I need to get more on my Kindle so grabbing that would mean I have my library. 🙂
Thank you for participating in my blog hop!
