I should do more flash fiction. I always enjoy it- when I can think of something to write!

I always come up with a character with strong desire/need, give them a problem or dilemma and put in a setting I enjoy writing.
One I just recently wrote for example.:
SETTING in this instance is more holiday & consequence than dependent on real location.
The Character is a Witch.
The Desire is to go the community Halloween Party.
The problem her date got sick and she doesn’t have a license, so can’t fly herself there and all her friends are already double brooming it. (The problem/conflict: is choice (character action taken) and consequence (repercussions of the choice). This story had to be 500 words or less for me to submit it. I wrote in 492 words. I am still waiting to see if accepted.
