IWSG NOVEMBER question is –

What is your favorite aspect of being a writer?

  • Creating characters profiles.  World building.  Creating connections within connections with symbolic and metaphoric touches that drives the subconscious of the character and building the complexity.
  • Making stuff up. The Possibilities!
  • Making the story follow logic even in a fantastical situation within the story limits you set up.
  • Creating emotional connection.  I love deep point of view but I am still a novice at that and learning, but it makes me happy when I nail the emotion.
  • Making sure the law of cause and effect holds  true within the story.  That choice/action generates a reaction/consequence be it internal or external or both, which is the best kind.

These last three are developed likes in the course of learning, honing, and practicing story craft as I play at working.  Writing story makes me feel like a kid and that anything is possible. Below, something I used to say a lot, especially when younger, and still sometimes do.

If I could be anybody in the world, I’d be a heroine in a book so I could live many lives, many adventures, see the world, fall in out of love and back in love again, experience space travel and fight pirates.  Best of all, I’d be a Jedi Knight.  ~Juneta

I’ve written almost as long as I have been able to write.  My early years were writing to make stuff up for entertainment and to see if I could, and then that changed to serious-minded play in RPG’s creating characters with their own stories that played out in my beloved story worlds.  e.g. Star Wars, LOTR & one in a Pern-like world, and now as a career creating my own worlds and original stories.

Free 3-Week Flash Fiction Course created by Holly Lisle.  No strings.  It’s free with free membership to the site.  It’s fun.  I learned so much.  I take it over and over again when I am feeling rusty and in need of practice.  I learn something new each time.  I love and live for those Ah-ah moments!  Just click on the book cover to check it out.

I AM HAVING COMMENTING PROBLEMS.

WORKING ON FINDING A FIX.

I COMMENTED TUE ON SOME OF THESE BLOGS JUST FINE NOW MY COMMENTS ARE MAGICALLY SWALLOWED INTO NEVERLAND WHEN I POST ON ALL BLOGS, SO FAR EXCEPT ON 3 BLOGS-(2 WP & 1 BLOGGER).

NOT SURE WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THOSE 3 BLOGS BECAUSE IT HAPPENS ON ALL OTHER WP AND BLOGGER BLOGS I HAVE VISITED.  I HAVE TRIED AT LEAST 10 BLOGS COMMENTING  MULTIPLE TIMES ON EACH TO NO AVAIL BEFORE I GAVE IT UP FOR THE NIGHT.

FYI  I have been trying to post on WP and Blogger blogs and return comments but they are being eaten.  I’ve googled several different fixes none have worked.

I will try again tomorrow.  I have never had this happen before so not sure what is going on.  I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out so moving on so I can accomplish something today.  It is 7pm already–been at it all day, only left one comment on Anna’s blog, not sure why can post there and none of the others I always post on.  Too weird!!!

Grrrrr, I’ve maintenance my computer, my browser and google with half a dozen different fixes, NONE work.  I still cannot comment or return comments on peoples blogs I’ve commented on forever.  My comments have become ghost disappearing as if I never typed them.  It’s 1 am and I’m going to bed.  I am so frustrated with this.
