Blogging, Writing, Reading
I have been lax on meeting my blogging goal this month, because I am participating in July 2014 Camp NaNoWriMo. All my concentration is on my current work in progress (WIP). Writing is challenging. It is a constant angst and joy. I write because I love to read, and I read to learn to write. Okay, actually I read for the pure fun and joy of it, but the other sounded good. Reading grounds me.
I was recently invited to take part in Pay It Forward Blog Hop started by F.C. Etier Here This lead to my post being featured on Venture Galleries HERE I cannot tell you how much this thrilled me, and inspired me. Thank you Chip Etier for starting the blog hop, and Elena E. Giorgo at CHIMERAS for inviting me to join in.
I am currently reading E. E. Giorgo’s book “CHIMERAS (Track Presius Book 1) It is a sci-fi mystery reminding me of the old style detective interaction of the 50’s, or Robert B. Parker novel detective like Spencer or Jesse Stone series, with a futuristic twist involving genetic manipulation. Giorgo has a unique and colorful voice. Check it out here
On my list to read is F.C. Etier’s début novel “The Tourist Killer (The Barry-Hixon Conspiracy Book 1) Check it out here
My reading list is growing every day. I spend less time reading now-a-days, and more time writing. I am always adding to the list. I have over 25 books on my current list to read first. I read for many reasons e. g. a diversion from the daily grind, for pure fun and escape, or for research or study.
